MARCO ISLAND RESIDENTS’ BEACH GUEST PRIVILEGES
As a member of the Marco
Island Civic Association’s Residents’ Beach you are granted guest
privileges. The guest privileges and regulations are
outlined for your convenience:
1. Each household
membership is permitted a maximum of five guests per day.
2. Your windshield
decal admits you and five others in your vehicle.
3. If your decal is
not affixed to the windshield, or if you are walking or biking to the beach,
you will be asked to show photo
identification and your ID will be matched to the computer list. This allows you to also bring five others with you per day. (A copier is available at the guard house to photocopy your ID should you not wish to carry your
original ID.)
4. If a member has a guest staying with him in
his Marco Island home, the member can personally come to the MICA office from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on weekdays,
complete a guest pass application, submit
the fee, and obtain a pass for the guest.
The pass will be in the guest’s name for the guest’s personal use without being with the member. A temporary guest pass may be issued for up
to a two week period. The member can personally come in and renew
the pass one time and submit the fee
if the guest is staying with him in his Marco Island home for more than two
weeks.
5. If the member is not on Marco Island
but has an immediate family member staying in his Marco Island home, the member may
request a temporary guest pass for a period of up to two weeks by completing a guest pass application via
mail and submitting the fee. The guest
pass is not renewable.
6. Fee schedule for
guest passes: $30 up to seven (7) days,
$60 up to fourteen (14) days.
7. Guest pass is limited to six individuals.
8. If everything on
application is in order, guest pass may be picked up at the MICA office Monday through Friday or at the Residents’ Beach
gate house on Saturday and Sunday, if the pass has been pre-paid. Your guest
must also present photo ID along with guest pass at the gate house on each
visit.
9. Parking at
Residents’ Beach for guest pass holders is permitted seven days per week except
from February 1 through March 30, when parking is permitted
Monday through Friday only. No parking
is permitted on July 4. Guest pass holders may walk onto the
Residents’ Beach property on Saturdays
and Sundays from February 1 through March 30.
Parking at MICA’s Sarazen Park is permitted
seven days per week, by placing the guest pass on the dashboard. Payment for guest pass may not be made at gate house.
10. No Guest Pass will
be issued for a renter. Renters may
purchase a membership if they produce a lease
that is for a minimum of a two-month period.
11. Renters with a
lease for a minimum of one month and up to two months may purchase a “walk on” membership.
Car parking privileges are not available for this membership.
12. If a member has a
special situation, every effort will be made to accommodate him within the
above rules.
13. Guest pass fees are non-refundable.
I HAVE READ THE MARCO ISLAND RESIDENTS’ BEACH GUEST
